LA Rams Owe STL Personal Seat License Owners Money

KSDK-TV reporter Casey Nolan on Thursday joined The Hollywood Casino Press Box United States District judge ruling the Rams must refund deposits to some fans who purchased personal seat licenses during the franchise's two decades in the city and offer others the opportunity to buy season tickets to games in Los Angeles.

Per Fenno's report, this originally came about when three separate lawsuits were filed after National Football League owners voted to approve the Rams' move to Los Angeles.

About 46,000 season tickets were issued to fans in St. Louis through FANS Inc., and Judge Limbaugh said that the contracts between the fans and FANS Inc. must be terminated due to the relocation of the franchise.

Rams fans in St. Louis could be getting some money back from the team.

Bills Offense "Simpler" Under Anthony Lynn
FAST FACTS: Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught at least one pass in 181 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the NFL. But if fans want a logical explanation to Roman's firing, the lack of dedication to the running game would be it.

"The Rams tried to exit without making any payments to any of the PSL holders", Bohm said. A team spokeswoman declined comment, citing the ongoing litigation. It was good for 30 years...but there was language that said they could break it...but would have to refund on the years remaining (that people didn't have the ability to buy season tickets). PSL holders contended that not only were the licenses still valid, but that they also had the right for season tickets in Los Angeles.

According to another Post-Dispatch article, there were two separate types of PSLs sold, some through Rams ticketing agent, FANS Inc., and others sold directly by the Rams. The FANS contract stated that it is terminated because of relocation.

Despite different outlets, both agreements state that even if the team plays in a different venue other than one in St. Louis, the team must "use its best efforts" to give the PSL holders their seats.
