Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will guzzle two types of gas

A bonus video will be released tomorrow before Dodge reveals the Demon on Tuesday, April 11.

One week out from it's debut and the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is still teasing us. But like most major debuts, someone on the internet has managed to get their hands on a photo of what appears to be the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon on the drag strip, which is in line with all the marketing materials Dodge has put out so far for the auto.

The hashtag #DodgeDemon is the next part that will be seen in the Dodge performance story.

New Amazon Fire TV Stick With Alexa Launched In The UK
Amazon's voice assistant has finally arrived on British television screens, with the latest edition of its Fire TV stick. The same software update also upgrades previous generation Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices to the new, cinematic UI.

Unfortunately official specifications won't come until the vehicle is properly introduced in NY. Once equipped, the Demon can switch between maps that are optimized for either 91 octane pump gas and 100+ octane unleaded race gas. The video clip themed Fuel & Fire suggests that the engine can come with a tuning that is ideal for higher octane fuels thus promising even greater power figures. With a massive supercharger, a torque converter and more power than the Hellcat, there's no way the SRT Demon gets decent fuel economy, even if it is 200 pounds lighter than its predecessor and has removable back seats. Although there is a single tank, the Demon's fuel system does differ from the standard Hellcat's in that it has two fuel pumps, larger injectors, and higher rail pressure. There will be a switch to Direct Connection controller.

The high octane provided by race gas can offer great benefits to racers on both the track and strip, which is why Dodge devised a way to throw the stuff into the Challenger SRT Demon.

All the refined details will be available at the New York International Auto Show 2017 where the vehicle will be displayed for the very first time.
