Florida snake hunter wrestles 16-foot python into submission

Not only does he enjoy what he does, his wallet likes it a bit more.

This snake was weighed about 130 pounds and was 16-foot 10-inches long. "Whoo! Sixteen-10, baby! Man, that's a big one!"

In the video, you can see Dusty "The Wildman" Crum sneak up on the giant snake barefoot and tackle it with his bare hands. He works with the South Florida Water Management District's python elimination program.

SFWMD is paying hunters like Crum $8.10 per hours with big incentives.

Crum got a double payday from the python - $375 from the water district, about the same for selling the skin.

Justice Karnan sends cops on wild goose chase
The doctors had gone there to conduct a medical examination of him on the orders of the Supreme Court on May 1. Besides, the apex court had directed that no authority should take cognisance of any orders passed by him.

Crum said he believed the snake was pregnant and perhaps otherwise injured when he walked up on it. The local record was a snake measuring at about 18 feet, two inches in length and weighing about 160 pounds.

Hunters are also given extra for snakes with eggs and this one had 78 eggs.

"We're making a difference by taking the eggs out of the ecosystem", Crum said.

Florida's wildlife commission announced at the beginning of May new prizes and plans to hire additional contractors to boost python removals from state-managed lands. Hunters are given an additional $100 for each eliminated python found guarding nests with eggs.
