Rolf Harris released from Stafford Prison

Rolf Harris court case

ROLF Harris is due to be released from prison tomorrow, May 19, after serving half his sentence.

Rolf Harris, 87, has been released from prison on bail to front to a London jury trial in person on charges he groped teenage girls.

Harris was jailed in July 2014 for five years and nine months.

He is also alleged to have touched a 13-year-old girl's breast after filming a children's TV programme and asked her: "Do you often get molested in a Saturday morning?"

Harris denies accusations of groping the three women when they were teenagers in the years 1971, 1978, and 1983.

The court has heard that he told her she was "a little bit irresistible".

The judge said Mr Harris, who denies all charges, will be granted bail.

Hackers obtain upcoming 'Pirates of the Carribbean' film
The hackers have however threatened to release increasingly longer pieces of the movie online if they aren't paid. Hackers leaked episodes of the new season after Netflix refused to meet their demands.

"I've said he's a fraud, he's a groper, he's a dirty old man".

But she said she felt empowered by Harris' conviction and began to feel "I might be vindicated".

Harris watched the court proceedings by video link.

She said her sister did not believe Harris had assaulted her.

She told jurors: "I was in shock because I couldn't comprehend what had just happened".

"I can't be the only person, I'll come forward and offer my help should it be needed", she told the jury. He is now serving a five-year, nine-month jail term after being convicted by a jury of indecently assaulting four other women and girls.

He has been attending the trial via video link, but Judge Deborah Taylor granted him bail on Thursday.
