Percentage of US Voters Supporting Trump's Impeachment Increases

Morning Consult reported on their poll, "For the Americans who said they want to see Republicans impeach a sitting president of their own party, their desire appears to be borne from the notion that Trump is generally unfit for office".

Of those who supported impeachment, 71 percent identified as Democrat, while 76 percent of GOP voters stated they opposed a Trump impeachment. If Congress concludes they are, the articles of impeachment are drafted and voted on by the House.

Morning Consult also cited general incompetence as the primary reason Americans would like to see Trump impeached.

By May 25, 10 city councils had issued resolutions calling for impeachment proceedings to be brought against Trump.

43 percent believe he has committed an impeachable offense. Republican Illinois State Senator Sam McCann said that if the facts support it, he'll call for impeachment, but the evidence just isn't there yet. The towns calling for congressional action to remove the president from office include the MA municipalities of Amherst, Brookline, Cambridge, Leverett and Pelham, as well as the California municipalities of Alameda, Berkeley, Los Angeles and Richmond, Politico reports. According to Green, "the president has committed an impeachable act" when he asked FBI Director James Comey to drop an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Former President Gerald Ford famously said that an impeachable offense "is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history".

Preds win from ousting Ducks to reach 1st Stanley Cup Final
In four games against the Predators, the 24-year-old winger had scored one goal and two assists. Rickard Rickell and Patrick Eaves did not make the trip to Nashville and will miss game six.

"If decisions are getting made that this isn't politically the right way to go, then we're putting party over country here", Bonifaz said.

On Thursday, Brookline passed a resolution calling for Trump's impeachment, a step created to add pressure on the State's congressmen to launch a formal bid that could eventually lead to the President's removal from office.

The eight-member Free Speech for People legal advisory board contends "from the moment he assumed the office, President Donald Trump has been in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution". "The Economist Intelligence Unit believes that the risk of impeachment has risen from low to moderate".

While many Democrats and liberals are advocating the impeachment and removal of President Trump, any such result is not likely to bring about a better future for the United States - let's not forget, Vice-President Mike Pence is next in line.
