Instead we got a glimpse at a new Life is odd prequel series called Before the Storm. There will be three episodes total, with the first one releasing on August 31st. Today, during Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference, they revealed the first trailer for the new game they're calling Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, and it will act as a prequel to the entire series. Not much is known about the devs, but I see that they did work on a Neopets game for PS2.

Developers DONTNOD will not be developing the prequel.

As Life Is Strange fans probably already know, Chloe goes through a lot of personal issues after her father's death, and that's extremely evident in Before the Storm's trailer. Instead, Rhianna DeVries will be voicing Chloe this time around.

Iran calls Trump's reaction to ISIS attacks 'repugnant'
It described them as "long affiliated with the Wahhabi", an ultraconservative form of Sunni Islam practised in Saudi Arabia. Trump has repeatedly accused Iran of sponsoring "terrorism".

The last words are important as it hints that the other Life Is Strange won't star Max as the main character.

Players will get the chance to get in the shoes of Max Caulfield's best friend Chloe Price.
. Now, it's just a matter of seeing how it ties in with the original game - and how certain characters may be affected by your actions.

Life is odd is getting a prequel that will revisit Max and Chloe. Dontnod had previously tried to make it clear that their game would not be at E3 this year. Titled "Life is Strange: Before the Storm", the three-episode miniseries deals with Chloe's formative early years at Blackwell Academy, before the disappearance of Rachel Amber. Also, there's anarchist symbol in the game's logo.
