E3 2017: New footage and gameplay revealed for 'Days Gone'

Days Gone was first shown off at E3 past year, where a gameplay demo showed the game's main character, Deacon St. John, fighting (and avoiding) hordes of zombie-like creatures. The trailer, which can be viewed below (as we get it) showed off new combat and driving mechanics as well as giving a brief look at how stealth works in Days Gone. Since the game's official reveal we've heard very little. Being pegged as an open world, post-apocalyptic, action-adventure survival horror game (a mouthful), you play as Deacon St. John. It appears you can also shoot people while on said bike, however the character is then caught by a trip wire and only just manages to get out of that situation. It focuses more on the open world aspect of the game rather than the zombie horde combat that we saw a year ago.

And zombie humans are one thing. He closes the out the Days Gone gameplay trailer by sharing details about his past before the outbreak while the short clip features some of the locations in the game.
