Sony fires at Xbox with arsenal of big PS4 games

Minecraft

The Windows Central blogger tweeted "Yes to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation refused" regarding cross-platform play with Minecraft. The "Better Together" update is set to bring a community marketplace, massive community-owned servers and cross-platform play to mobile, console, PC, and VR versions of the popular building game. You can see a new trailer below.

You may wonder why one would play Minecraft in 4K, right?

Microsoft said the Super-Duper Graphics Pack will hit Xbox One X and Windows 10 versions, although it didn't specify whether which other platforms will receive it. The game will no longer be referred to as "Minecraft: *insert platform* Edition" and will just be titled simply Minecraft as all of these versions will be the same game.

This fall, players will be able to explore endless worlds, rendered in 4K HDR resolution, via another upcoming update.

It's the one day where you celebrate all that hard work you've done . "Everyone seemed to be in a brighter mood", Alcantara said. The president of Hunter College told Fox 5 that she is looking forward to handing it to Alcantara personally.

As previously covered, Microsoft began pushing for cross-platform play between different console networks and PC in March of past year. Realms is a paid multiplayer server hosting service for up to 11 players, now only available for PC and "pocket" editions of the game. For one, cross-platform gameplay is now a thing across mobile, Windows 10 PC, VR, and console.

Sony confirmed on Tuesday it has sold 60.4 million PlayStation 4 consoles since it propelled a little more than three years prior, giving the company a constant popularity in the gaming world. Merriam added that more players can adventure together on the Server experiences. CNET says the update was named this way because it will be the one that would bring the relatively isolated versions of the game toward the more prominent version. Minecraft is launching with four servers, which are Lifeboat, Mineplex, InPVP, and Cubecraft.

Finally, there's a new graphics pack for 4K viewing - better lighting, shadows, and water effects, the company said.

PlayStation will not be part of Minecraft unification plans.
