Sixers' Joel Embiid and Dario Saric both named NBA All-Rookie First Team

Center Joel Embiid and forward Dario Saric both landed on the National Basketball Association all-team's rookie team, along with three other first-year players across the league. Brogdon, who is the first second-round player to win this award in the common draft era, averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals.

For the first time in his career, Draymond Green took home the Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award after a remarkable season that ended in his second NBA Championship since entering the league in 2012. The Philadelphia 76ers have a pair of representatives on the first team with Joel Embiid and Dario Saric.

The 2016 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year wrapped up his first professional season averaging 8.6 points in the final 25 games, including the NBA Playoffs.

The third overall pick at the 2016 NBA Draft saw action in 78 regular season games for Boston, including 20 starts.

Embiid, Saric, and the Milwaukee Bucks Malcolm Brogdon are the finalists for NBA Rookie of the Year. The 22-year-old turned heads all season and brought life to a young Milwaukee Bucks team that has a lot to look forward to with this young all-star.

India tours West Indies

All three semifinalists were named to the NBA All-Rookie Team for the 2016-17 year.

Player 1 averaged 20.2 points per game, shot 46.6 percent from the floor and 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and had a true shooting percentage of 58.4 percent. The Clippers' Chris Paul and Houston's Patrick Beverley were the two guards on the first team. New Orleans All-Star Anthony Davis was the center and Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo and Oklahoma City's Andre Roberson the forwards.

Saric, along with the Bucks Malcolm Brogdon, were voted to the team unanimously as they both received all 100 First-Team votes from a panel that includes sportscasters and writers from around the country.

Denver guard Jamal Murray, Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, Phoenix forward Marquese Chriss, Lakers forward Brandon Ingram and Mavericks guard Yogi Ferrell were on the second team.
