Princess Diana remembered on what would have been her 56th birthday

Kate Middleton Was Banned From Appearing At Wimbledon

Rededication services are not very common in the Church of England when there is no great adjustment to the grave, but it is understood that Prince William and Prince Harry felt it was important that George, 4, and Charlotte, 2, paid their tribute away from the press ahead of what is expected to be an emotional summer.

Princess Diana is remembered on what would have been her 56th birthday. We can't believe it's already been 20 years.

Diana's older sisters - Lady Sarah McCorquodale, 60, and 62-year-old Baroness Fellowes - also attended yesterday's ceremony.

The family paid a private visit to Diana's final resting place at the Spencer family estate on Saturday, to attend a service conducted by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and re-dedicate Diana's grave 20 years after her death.

'I don't think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances.

Earl Spencer, Prince William, Prince Harry and Prince Charles watch as the coffin of Diana, Princess of Wales is placed into a hearse at Westminster Abbey following her funeral service, London, Britain September 6, 1997.

Cosby Accuser Andrea Constand Thanks Supporters for 'Love & Kindness'
The prosecution also said they will revisit their petition to have 13 of the more than 50 Cosby accusers testify in the retrial. Cosby acknowledged that he had cheated on his wife with Constand , but he said that their relationship was consensual.

It will be displayed in the grounds of her old home, Kensington Palace, where William now lives with his family, and Harry has an apartment.

She was layed to rest on an island in the Oval Lake at the Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire.

The event came after William and Harry recently spoke publicly about the impact their mother's death had on them.

"One thing I can always say about my mother is she smothered Harry and me in love. I don't think it would happen today".

The Duke of Cambridge and his brother gathered with family on Saturday to pay tribute to their beloved mother, who died in a auto crash in Paris, France, on August 31, 1997.

Both William and Harry have been increasingly more open about coping with their mum's passing in recent months, with Harry admitting he only started to deal with his issues after coming back from Afghanistan. They are hoping the statue will remind everyone about her when they visit the palace. At the time of her death, #Prince William was 15, and Prince Harry was three years younger. The Diana Award is a charity organized to promote Princess Diana's belief in young people.
