Google Home new streaming Feature

If you ask Google Home to play music based on an activity, genre, or mood, songs from your purchased/uploaded library won't be included.

Back in June after the Samsung Galaxy S8 arrived on the scene, Google announced that Play Music would launch an exclusive feature for S8 called New Release Radio.

At Hot Dog Competition!!!
The owner of the Coney Island stand, Nathan Handwerker, overheard four immigrants arguing over who was more patriotic. Many people wore hot dog-shaped foam hats and held signs with messages like "Bun Stuff" to cheer for the eaters.

Starting today, you can now play music on your Google Home that you've either uploaded or purchased through Google Play Music. Google Play Music allows you to store up to 50,000 songs in its cloud that could be streamed "anywhere for free". On that note, it does appear that New Release Radio is available from the Google Play Music web player, but it doesn't look like the feature is available in the Play Music app just yet. But while you could indeed stream from Google Play Music to your smart speaker, you were only limited to what's on their online catalog. Users paying for the on-demand streaming service will get the catalog as priority and will only switch to your personal library if they can't find anything from the artist or album you requested. This is something that's been noticeably absent from Google Home since its release last October, but a Google support representative has finally confirmed that this feature is now making its way to all Home devices. New Release Radio takes what you have listened into account through machine learning when creating the playlist, giving it a more personalized feel.
