Lukaku excited for Zlatan return

Romelu Lukaku Wayne Rooney play in Everton Manchester United Premier League game

Ibrahimovic is back at Old Trafford after signing a one-year contract last month, having initially not been offered a new deal at the end of last season following a serious knee ligament injury.

Manchester United will commence their 2017-18 UEFA Champions League campaign in just eight days when they host FC Basel in group play.

The Swedish striker scored 28 goals across all competitions as the Red Devils finished the season with the EFL Cup and the Europa League.

The former Sweden worldwide has been sidelined with a knee injury that he suffered at the end of last season during the latter stages of United's victorious Europa League campaign.

Lukaku believes United need personalities like Ibrahimovic at the club.

"I think when some people say "great draw", I don't think they know the difficulties of football, I think they don't know the history of these teams and what we are going to face, so for me, it's a hard draw and any team can get points in any match", he said.

He is working with Mourinho, who sold him to Everton while being Chelsea manager a few years ago, and Lukaku admits that the Manchester United boss played a key role in convincing him. I think Zlatan is going to bring us a lot. In only Zlatan style, he has looked on track and was re-signed by the club last week on a £125k a week deal, to offer competition and mentorship to the club's new headline act, Romelu Lukaku.

"He will get better through the season as I think he understands this club is all about winning".

"It's a great return, 10 goals, none conceded, creating chances, scoring goals, looks like we're playing half decent football".
