Warner, Finch power Australia to 334/5 in 4th ODI

5th ODI Rohit Sharma's Masterful Knock Takes India To 4-1 Series Win

Richardson (3-58 ) provided the first breakthrough when he removed Rahane and soon an indecision in running costed the wicket of Rohit.

Australia, who won the toss and elected to bat, put on a 231-run stand before Warner was eventually caught by Hardik Pandya off Umesh Yadav.

The 21-run win didn't come about easily though as the Indians led by their own opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane made a real fight of it in front of almost 25,000 fans who braved the threat of thunderstorms to egg their team on.

Earlier today, Australia won the toss and chose to BAT first.

Peter Handscomb played a good cameo of 43 off 30 balls but Australia would have been concerned that they didn't make the most of their great start. "But we only lost by 20-odd runs in the end", said the Indian skipper. Warner reached his half-century off 45 balls, and Finch too followed his hundred in Indore with his 17th ODI half-century off 65 balls.

Openers Warner and Finch will be the key to the batting line-up.

Local woman worries about family in the path of Hurricane Maria
The small island of Dominica has been devastated and the same category 5 hurricane that did the damage is on the move. But Maria just ripped it all off - damaged the building more and destroyed most of what was left.

India had already taken the five-match series with victory in each of the first three encounters.

Not for the first time, a mix-up between Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli ended the former's stint at the crease by virtue of a run out.

According to the study of Virat Kohli, he scored 739 ODI runs from 739 balls in 2016.

On his part, Warner who will be playing his 100 ODI here said that the side, in spite of losing the ODI series would like to leave a mark in the remaining games as that will be a huge confidence-booster before the Ashes series starting November.

This is also a little important match for India even they won 5-match ODI series. I think the wicket was really good to bat on and from that point of view you have to give them a bit of advantage there. Wickets fell in a flurry and Australia successfully defended their formidable score. Interestingly, all the four wickets came off deliveries that kept low after being bowled short or slow.

Their partnership threatened to take the match away from India as Warner went for clean hitting. Getting to play in India, and play my 100th ODI, is pretty special. They hit the boundaries when they wanted to, and set us up to get 330.
