Rahul should wear Gujarati, not Italian spectacles to see development: Amit Shah

During his recent visit to state, Rahul Gandhi had questioned BJP's Gujarat model of development where he termed it a failure by mentioning that no jobs were created.

Gandhi was on a three-day visit to Gujarat for his Navsarjan Yatra in the poll bound state also spoke about his dream to see machines in China with "Made in Gujarat" and "Made in India logo".

BJP chief Amit Shah today held a meeting with Union minister and BJP poll in-charge for Gujarat Arun Jaitley and other top party leaders to discuss the issues related to the state assembly polls due later this year. The assembly elections in Gujarat will be conducted in December, so there's just around 2 months left to complete the campaigning.

The "Sonia-Manmohan Singh" government, during the UPA's 10-year rule, did "great" injustice to Gujarat by holding up the Narmada dam project, he alleged. Everyone has the right to see dreams. To win the polls, you need to do some hard work.

The BJP has countered the Congress with its own slogan " Hu Vikas Chhu, Hu Gujarat Chhu or I am development, I am Gujarat".

The BJP's Gujarat Gaurav Yatra will continue till October 15 and during this period 138 jan sabhas will be addressed.

Gandhi completed the first phase of his statewide yatra last week as he toured Saurashtra region for three days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shah will participate in the concluding ceremony of the yatra.
