Wonder Woman 2 To Shoot This Summer, First Plot Details Confirmed

Gal Gadot lined up for post-World War II revenge thriller Ruin

Patty Jenkins is set to break new ground as a female director when she brings the Wonder Woman sequel to life, and now reports have emerged that the follow-up will start production in June 2018 in order to meet its December 2019 release date.

Earlier this year Wonder Woman blasted onto screens everywhere finally giving DC a win after last years Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad.

With Wonder Woman 2 not set to begin shooting until later in 2018, Gadot is reportedly negotiating to take on a role in the WWII drama Ruin, which will be ready to go before cameras in early 2018, as reported by Deadline.

It is still unclear what role the "Keeping up with Jones" actor will be playing.

Arsenal boss Wenger: Alexis assist a 'thing of beauty'
Lagos-born Alex Iwobi scored during the " Arsenal For All" diversity day against Brighton at the Emirates. The north London club is six points adrift of the early pacesetters - Manchester rivals City and United.

One that should be of particular interest is the very now relevant Ruin, a Justin Kurzel-directed post-WW2-era movie in which a former Nazi captain seeks penance for his war crimes by hunting down his former team members.

Director Kurzel's previous credits include the very dark Shakespeare adaptation Macbeth and the disappointing video game film Assassin's Creed, both starring Michael Fassbender.

However, bosses will have to snap up Gadot quick as she's also reportedly in talks to star alongside Bradley Cooper in "Deeper" after she was approached by Max Landis.

If Gadot does sign on for this movie, let's hope her character is front and center of the action where she belongs!
