Ezekiel Elliott preliminary injunction hearing stays on October 30

Fantasy Football Advice Ezekiel Elliott Andrew Luck present long-term suspension injury worries

A final decision could come October 30 in a NY court room when motion for a preliminary injunction that could keep Elliott on the field for the rest of the season is heard.

The NFL had sought to rush the hearing so it could be held before Sunday's contest pitting the Cowboys against the Washington team.

Ezekiel Elliott's season will live to see another Sunday.

Elliott has played in all six Cowboys games this season during the appeal process and set a career high with 219 total yards (147 rushing, 72 receiving) with three touchdowns in the Cowboys' 40-10 win over the 49ers in Week 7.

Without the preliminary injunction, Elliott's suspension would no longer be blocked by the courts, and the National Football League could impose the six-game suspension levied against him in August in response to domestic violence allegations by Elliott's former girlfriend.

Wet outfield delays India-Australia 3rd T20
India skipper Virat Kohli and Australia s stand-in captain David Warner shared the honours with the series ending drawn 1-1. Over two weeks of heavy rain leading up to the match meant the ground had taken in a lot of water.

"I put that aside when I get with these guys", Elliott said after the game when asked about his ongoing legal saga.

But Elliott, the fourth overall selection in the 2016 draft, was never arrested nor charged by police in the incident.

After the National Football League received a preliminary injunction against a court ruling allowing Elliott to play, another judge issued a restraining order last week that cleared him to play in Sunday's 40-10 win at San Francisco. He also has 18 catches for 206 yards and two TDs.

The NFL insisted it is not trying to reach a settlement with Ezekiel Elliott regarding his delayed six-game suspension.
