Kevin Spacey removed from Ridley Scott's film

Kevin Spacey Christopher Plummer

The movie - a thriller about the real life kidnapping of oil tycoon Jean Paul Getty's grandson - will replace Spacey's role as with Christopher Plummer. The movie, a possible Oscar contender, was set for a December release, but the conundrum has been over what to do with Kevin Spacey's part in the movie. Spacey had been Sony's big Oscar hopeful as his unrecognizable turn as the mogul was pegged for Best Supporting Actor consideration, but those prospects were dashed completely when news of Spacey's alleged behavior began to spread. The family chose to come forward, she said, after others went public with allegations of sexual misconduct against Spacey and other celebrities.

All the Money in the World, directed by Ridley Scott and produced by Sony, isn't the first to cut ties with the actor.

According to the report, all of Spacey's scenes will be reshot, with co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams expected to participate.

It's not entirely clear how Scott ("Blade Runner") will go about inserting Plummer into Spacey's scenes in such a short amount of time, but some use of digital effects are is good bet. His mother tries to persuade Getty to pay the random for her son after Italian gangsters captured him.

The decision follows more sexual misconduct allegations against the Oscar-winner from a woman who says he touched her 18-year-old son in MA last year.

Apple's iPhone 'i' glitch is driving texters insane
It's not just newly purchased phones that are affected, but iOS 11 users from iPhone 6 and up are also seeing the glitch. Some users are reporting that the temporary workaround isn't working, while others are noticing the fix.

Spacey, 58, did not immediately respond to the allegations.

Broadway star Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of attempting to molest him when he was a teenager at a party in the 1980s. "I'm beyond horrified to hear his story".

The claims against Spacey span from the mid-1980s to previous year.

Some people took to Twitter after the replacement following the onslaught of sexual assault allegations, claiming Spacey's career might be over.

Since the sexual assault allegations against Spacey, we have also seen the cancellation of his House of Cards series, which was said to be on its way anyway.
