OH politician criticized for Facebook post 'trivializing' sexual assault

Ohio Supreme Court justice 'on behalf of all heterosexual males' posts on Facebook about sexual history

"As a candidate for governor I am probably the next victim". Namely, Justice Bill O'Neill defended Al Franken and Roy Moore, all while publicly claiming he'd had sexual relationships throughout his lifetime with "approximately 50 very attractive females". It ranged from a gorgeous blonde who was my first true love and we made passionate love in the hayloft of her parents barn and ended with a drop dead gorgeous red head from Cleveland.

While O'Neill corrected the post to remove the mention of Taft, his original post was preserved for all eternity by a screenshot.

Now can we get back to discussing legalizing marijuana and opening the state hospital network to combat the opioid crisis. He also appeared to show how he felt about the recent onslaught of reports of sexual misconduct against entertainers, executives and politicians by saying he was speaking up for "all heterosexual males" and that he was "sooooo disappointed by this national feeding frenzy about sexual indiscretions decades ago". Responses include, "Bravo you've boasted about being depraved hedonistic and misogynistic", and the simple, "Seriously?"

"No words can convey my shock", O'Connor wrote.

In his original announcement, the Supreme Court justice almost identified the very women he was referring to, and one wrong word suggested that he had actually slept with a USA senator!

O'Neill's post was immediately met with outrage from both sides of the political spectrum in OH, with most calling for him to withdraw from the governor's race immediately. In contrast, the OH supreme court's chief justice condemned her colleague for expressing "gross disrespect for women", and his opponents have called for his resignation. He called the post "disturbing and misguided" and said he had no prior knowledge O'Neill was making it.

Cambodia's exiled ex-opposition leader announces return to politics
Steve Chabot, co-chairman of the House Cambodia caucus, said Cambodian elections next year would be a "sham". It did not send lawyers for the court ruling.

State Rep. Niraj Antani, a Dayton Republican, called on him to resign and said the post was "unbecoming".

"The media is about to determine the election of a United States Senate Campaign".

In his first interview since the post, O'Neill told FOX 8 he understood his comments caused a firestorm.

O'Neill insisted that the sexual assault issue is far less important than issues of governance. "I think that's very, very, clear".

O'Neill said he had no regrets on the posting because one should speak up if one sees something wrong, which he sees in the "frenzy" surrounding Al Franken.
