A brawl erupted at an Alabama mall on Black Friday

Hoover police and firefighters responded to the shopping center after 11 p.m. on at least one fight in a store on the mall's second floor.

Catching a sale has once again brought out the primal behavior of shoppers on the infamous day known as Black Friday. In the midst of the fight, she said she saw a shoe fly over the railing and hit a baby on the first level.

A number of arrests were made after the brawl, though reports did not disclose who was arrested and what charges they might face.

This wasn't the only incident of Black Friday shopping violence.

Additionally, a man in Columbia (Mo.) is being treated for a gunshot wound after being shot in the parking lot of a local mall. Reports of gunfire quickly spread on social media, but authorities said reports of shots fired were not confirmed and no one was shot.

Several officers responded to reports of early morning Black Friday fights at the Riverchase Galleria. Police were still interviewing witnesses on Friday, but they did not identify a suspect or disclose a motive for the attack.

There's now no information on any injuries or arrest from the fights.
