Florida coach search: Chip Kelly to UCLA, competition for Scott Frost

Report: Chip Kelly not coming to the SEC as Florida moves on, eyes Central Florida's Scott Frost

The report said Florida administrators and Kelly met in New Hampshire Sunday and remained in contact throughout the week, but no deal is forthcoming.

UCLA announced the move with a video that said Kelly is ushering in a "new era" in Westwood. "His success speaks for itself, but more than that, I firmly believe that his passion for the game and his innovative approach to coaching student-athletes make him the ideal fit for our program".

Chip Kelly's fast-paced offense won't be seen in the Southeastern Conference next season after all. "I'd like to thank Josh Rebholz, Casey Wasserman and Troy Aikman for their input during this process, as their candor, experience and support were invaluable".

Prince Harry-Meghan Markle engagement announcement 'imminent'
Markle has also reportedly had an official tea with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry and given her seal of approval. Markle's body-double in Suits Nicky Bursic has basically confirmed that she is quitting the show.

UCLA defeated California on Friday night under interim coach Jedd Fisch to improve to 6-6 for the season, making the Bruins bowl eligible. Kelly has worked as a TV analyst this season after spending the previous four as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers (2016) and Philadelphia Eagles (2013-15). "UCLA is a world-class institution with a distinguished history in athletics, and we will do our part to uphold its tradition of excellence".

Kelly spent four years at OR, leading them to a bowl game all four years.

With the Ducks, Kelly established himself as one of college football's most innovative coaches, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. After all, few have done a more impressive job in turning a program into a national power than Kelly executed at OR and, even with two relatively unsuccessful NFL stints, there is every reason to believe that he will be a quality option at the college level again. The NCAA sanctioned Kelly with "failure to monitor".
