President Trump is again criticizing CNN - and the network is tweeting back

As lawmakers return to the Hill Trump suggests fake news 'contest'

Since Trump assumed the office, United States media, including CNN, have accused the U.S. president's team of having alleged ties to the Kremlin.

Fox News is "much more important" than CNN, President Donald Trump tweeted Saturday.

"They (CNN International) represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly". It took no time for CNN to fire back at Trump, and the internet is loving the network's response. The POTUS frequently claims organizations such as CNN and the NYT are merely "fake news" who seek to polarize the American citizenry and lie for views. However, examples of the pro-Trump website's work can still be seen on its Twitter account.

OH politician criticized for Facebook post 'trivializing' sexual assault
While O'Neill corrected the post to remove the mention of Taft, his original post was preserved for all eternity by a screenshot. Now can we get back to discussing legalizing marijuana and opening the state hospital network to combat the opioid crisis.

"Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that can not be limited without being lost", Comey tweeted Saturday evening along with a picture of the Capitol.

Comey responded, indirectly, on social media. Norm Eisen, a former chief White House ethics lawyer, suggested that the president's words might hurt his Justice Department's legal case against the AT&T merger with CNN's parent company, Time Warner Inc. Given the context, Trump's attack on CNN seems particularly timely. However, they negatively represent the country in the world.

It seems that Trump just won't let up this weekend, and CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins joked that this one came at a particularly inopportune time - many were tuned into the Auburn-Alabama football game.
