LaVar Ball removes LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

LiAngelo Ball

Reportedly, LaVar Ball has removed his shoplifting son from the team and school.

"We are exploring other options with 'gelo", LaVar Ball told ESPN. "He's out of there".

LiAngelo made headlines in November when he and two of his UCLA teammates were caught shoplifting in China.

It appears LiAngelo Ball will not return to the UCLA men's basketball team.

Apparently, LaVar is upset over UCLA's treatment of his son following the indefinite suspension that the university brought down on LiAngelo for stealing sunglasses while with the team in China. They were detained for about a week in China before the case against them was dropped, with President Donald Trump saying he spoke on behalf of the players to Chinese President Xi Jinping. That sparked a very public back-and-forth exchange between the celebrity-in-chief and LaVar, with Trump tweeting, "I should have left them in jail" and calling the outspoken hoops dad an "ungrateful fool" for not thanking him. Currently, there's no telling how LiAngelo being pulled from the Bruins' program might affect LaMelo's commitment or if LaVar even wants to honor that commitment at this point.

UK Gov publishes Industrial Strategy
The white paper follows extensive engagement by government with industry, academia and business bodies who submitted nearly 2,000 responses to the green paper consultation earlier in 2017.

LaVar Ball said LiAngelo Ball "wasn't punished this bad in China". He could perhaps polish his skills with personal coaches and then take a shot at National Basketball Association pre-draft combines in the summer, but he would still be a longshot to make an National Basketball Association roster.

LiAngelo Ball's outspoken father, Lavar Ball, told ESPN he chose to pull his son out of UCLA.

One NBA executive was rather blunt about the NBA prospects for Lonzo Ball's younger brother.

"I haven't told any of those guys,"Lavar told ESPN".
