The fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames in the building, which has been accorded a heritage status. The level-3 fire, which began on the sets of the TV serial Bepanah, was brought under control only after two hours. Well, the officials aren't saying anything because in Investigating is going on but a deep source is saying that the fire emerged due to short circuit from a generator in the studio.

The fire started from courtroom number 34 on the third floor of the building and fortunately, did not spread to the other parts. That's a very great news because reports are suggesting that by the time of the fire there were around 150 people inside the studio.

This incident comes after the massive fire in Kamala Mills compound that claimed the lives of 14 people on December 29. A technician was killed in a fire that broke out at Cinevista studio in east central Mumbai on Saturday.
