The frantic mother explained that her daughter was "ice cold" to the touch and unresponsive on the front porch. She is ice cold!

The girl's mom called 911 after she discovered the child on the front porch.

According to the child's mother, who hasn't been publicly named since she hasn't been charged in connection with the death, told police that she was out with her other child, a 4-year-old, while Wynter's father was supposed to be watching her at home.

OH police identified the two-year-old toddler found frozen on the porch of her Akron home on Friday, Feb. 2, as Wynter Parker.

Akron police said around 3:30 Friday afternoon, they were called to the apartment on Doty Drive.

The mother had been away from the house for about two hours, police said.

Her mother had left her at home while she ran errands but the father, who works nights, fell asleep in the day, Fox News reported.

Jaguar to soon reveal 'fast charging' SA-bound I-Pace
In the lead up, the I-Pace has been undergoing extreme winter testing to make sure it lives up to Jaguar's expectations. The I-Pace has been confirmed to go on sale in Australia late this year, with prices yet to be announced.

No charges have been filed against either parent while the investigation continues.

"What's taking so long?" the mother asked at one point, according to Akron Beacon Journal.

In the eight-minute audio recording, she told the dispatcher that her daughter "left and went outside".

Lucas said it was not the first time either of the children had been allowed to roam free by themselves. "One, two, three, four". "I cried [when I found out what happened] because I just don't understand how a 2-year-old could be outside and you not know".

"It's important they come inside to prevent hypothermia and frostbite", she added.

After the incident, neighbours grappled with what had happened. "It literally broke my heart".

The Summit County medical examiner's office is scheduled to perform an autopsy on Monday to determine the child's official cause of death.
