Trump praises Qatar emir's visit

Qatar Superstock 600 Championship Super Al Sulaiti defends his title at LIC

He added, "Those countries are stopping the funding of terrorism that includes UAE, it includes Saudi Arabia, it includes Qatar and others".

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates severed ties with Qatar on June 5, officially accusing Doha of supporting terrorism and destabilizing the region - charges which Qatar strongly denies.

Qatar's Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will be at the White House on Tuesday.

On Monday, the State Department notified Congress that it had approved the potential sale of $300 million in advanced rocket systems to Qatar, which a statement called "an important force for political stability and economic progress in the Persian Gulf region". "We are cooperating with the United States of America to stop funding of terrorism around the region". Qatar denies the allegations.

On the sidelines of the event, Sheikh Hamad al-Thani also said that "Qatar Taxi will pursue several strategic partnerships with ministries and authorities in addition to launching a wide range of offers to meet the needs of the society".

Shortly after the crisis began, Trump appeared to take responsibility for the sanctions against Qatar.

Since Trump's past criticism of Qatar, the country has engaged in an aggressive campaign to rebuild its reputation in the US and prove it is a dependable ally.

"I want to make something very clear, Mr. President", he said.

The visit comes after Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - thought to be one of the main instigators of the crisis - made a two-week tour of the U.S. and had a more awkward meeting with Trump on the issue of arms sales.

"During my recent trip to the Middle East I stated that there can no longer be funding of Radical Ideology".

"We have a gentleman on my right who buys a lot of equipment from us, a lot of purchases in the United States and a lot of military airplanes, missiles, lots of different things", Trump said.
