House Intel Committee releases report on Russian Federation election meddling, clears Trump

No collusion’ Redacted US House report on Russia released officially clears Trump

Along with alleged links between the Russian government and the Trump and Clinton campaigns, the investigation examined Russian interference in the 2016 US election, the USA government's response to the meddling, and leaks of classified information.

Entire pages of the report are blacked out, but committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said he hopes a less redacted version might become available later.

Recently, the Democratic National Committee also sued the Trump campaign and Russian Federation, alleging collusion.

Clinton, the report said, paid for research on Trump "using a series of cutouts and intermediaries to obscure their roles". A total Witch Hunt. Republicans had already announced the main findings last month. The probe, they insisted, is not over yet.

The report reconfirms many aspects of those active measures, which included overtures by human intelligence operatives to Americans, including Trump aides; cyberattacks on state election systems; and the theft and release of Americans' emails as part of a scheme to embarrass them.

An investigation, dubbed a Witch Hunt, led by special counsel Robert Mueller is ongoing, as are probes led by the Senate intelligence and judiciary committees. They specifically cited the Trump campaign for "poor judgment" in taking a June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower with Russian operatives and dubbed the campaign's praise of WikiLeaks "objectionable".

However, the House of Representatives committee found no evidence of a conspiracy between President Donald Trump's campaign and Moscow.

Fortnite seems to be heading off to the be "last one standing" in the fight for dominance in the battle royale genre. The rumored event Epic Games has in store for Fortnite players has finally begun.

"In fact, we found evidence of collusion in the abundant secret meetings and communications between Trump campaign officials and associates such as Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos, Donald Trump Jr., Michael Flynn, Carter Page, and others, with emissaries and officials from, or linked to the Russian government", the top Democrat on the committee said.

"We sought to determine whether that number belonged to the president, because we also ascertained that then-candidate Trump used a blocked number", Schiff told the Post.

In February, a U.S. federal jury charged 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies as part of an investigation into alleged interference in the 2016 presidential elections.

He indicated the redactions were not the doing of the committee, but instead of federal agencies vetting the report.

Finally, Democrats and legal experts have argued the Republican investigation ignored key witnesses and evidence.

"Notwithstanding the decision by the Majority to end its work and turn its attention to counter-investigations created to serve the President's interests, the Minority's work on the Russian Federation investigation continues.", Schiff said in a statement Friday.

But.maybe now the House Intel Committee can launch an investigation into that!

The former chair of the Trump campaign has also been indicted as well as his deputy. The panel also recommended the executive branch "crack down" on leaks by conducting polygraphs.
