Ken Jeong stops Phoenix show to rescue fan

Actor Ken Jeong reportedly helped a woman in his live audience when she required medical attention

TMZ reported that a woman seated near the front of the crowd began having a seizure during the live show. It was such ideal timing: "Ken just jumped from the stage to help", audience member Heather Holmberg said in an interview with USA Today. At first the "Hangover" star, who was performing live at the time, thought he was being heckled but quickly realized the situation was far more serious than that. Someone was having a crisis.

Holmberg told the publication Jeong continued with his show once he and a paramedic tended to the unidentified woman, who was later transported by ambulance to a local hospital. An audience member who was also an EMT assisted as well. "Great night! He is gracious and grateful.AND flipping amusing!"

Confusion Reigns Over Liverpool Assistant Manager's Position At The Club
In October, head physio Andy Renshaw was sacked, with a shake-up of the club's medical department expected in the summer. Along with Peter Krawietz , they have formed a close-knit triumvirate who arrived at Liverpool together in late 2015.

Comedian Ken Jeong is well-known for various parts, including an incompetent Spanish instructor on "Community", a gang boss in "The Hangover", and a doctor on the short-lived ABC series "Dr. Ken". He leveraged his medical experience in a short performance in the film "Knocked Up" and in his own sitcom "Dr. Ken", which was canceled after two seasons past year. After graduating Duke University in 1990, Jeong earned a medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine five years later.

ET Online reports Jeong is now licensed as a physician and surgeon in California, although he longer practices medicine.
