See SpaceX launch its rocket created to fly up to 100 times

Space X's Falcon 9 rocket

SpaceX (SPACE) is set to launch a Bangladeshi satellite today atop a Falcon 9 Block 5 - the latest and final major upgrade to the rocket.

The upgraded SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket is built to be re-used ten times with minimal refurbishment between liftoffs. SpaceX CEO and Grimes' new soulmate Elon Musk says the Block 5 will carry NASA astronauts to space as soon as December, 2018, with a few test flights before then. There's only a 20 percent chance that bad weather will spoil the event, so it's likely that the launch will go off without a hitch.

The first Block 5 Falcon 9 ascends into the Florida sky with Bangabandhu-1 for Bangladesh.

The upgrades are all created to make Falcon 9 rockets, which SpaceX has already been recovering and using multiple times to cut costs on future missions, even more durable.

This is a busy time for SpaceX, which recently launched its 14 resupply mission to the International Space Station, sent 10 next-generation satellites into orbit for Iridium Communications and launched NASA's TESS exoplanet hunter. In total, more than 50 of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets have been launched to date.

Positioned at 119.1 Degrees East, the system will provide Ku-band coverage for Bangladesh and its territorial waters in the Bay of Bengal, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Indonesia.

The solar-powered satellite will venture into geostationary orbit around Earth to offer radio, internet and worldwide television broadcasts to rural areas throughout the country for the first time.

-An enhanced heat shield at the base to better survive re-entry, which gives the rocket more reusability capabilities.

A second stage COPV apparently ruptured during a pre-launch test September 1, 2016, triggering a catastrophic explosion that destroyed a Falcon 9 and its satellite payload and heavily damaged the launch complex.
